Update and Review Course

Monday, 21 August 2017

9.00am - 4.00pm

Holiday Inn, Rotorua

Maintaining a high level of clinical competence is a requirement of registration under the HPCA Act 2003. For those using manual and manipulative therapy in the spine and peripheral joints this requires a physiotherapist to have these techniques assessed and revised regularly to ensure this competence is maintained. With respect to cervical spine screening in particular there have been changes in the current guidelines to manage and assess risk. The nature of this one day course is to review these new guidelines and then undertake a practical review of all spinal and some peripheral joint mobilisation leading to HVT techniques.
